Asked about two orphan sons or two spirit-tablets, Confucius says there are not two suns, two kings, or two highest honours in sacrifices; he says Duke Hwan of Khi made fictitious tablets for expeditions and that two tablets originated from him.
Duke Hwan is said to have made fictitious tablets and taken them on expeditions, and the passage ends with a question about an army carrying removed spirit-tablets.
