Hastséyalti and Hastséhogan stand on the rainbow at the doorway; the Navaho is summoned, takes his sacrificial bundle, receives consent to take the niece's turkey, hears the grandmother ask for his return, and boards the sunwise-turned rainbow between the two gods.

The turkey is taken as company for the Navaho and secretly prepared with corn, seeds, gourds, melons, squash, and beans beneath its wings.
