Four boys from Klawak hunt black ducks that draw them out to sea until their canoe upsets. A shaman named Tuxstā is given property, sends his spirit, and says the boys' spirits took the road to the land-otters' dens.
The black ducks keep swimming out to sea, drawing the boys onward until the canoe upsets and the boys vanish.
