Each iduhu rohi owns the front right corner post of the dubu and is responsible for its maintenance and renewal; where iduhu jointly build a common dubu, the iduhu rohi of the strongest or traditionally most important clan becomes master of that post.

The front right dubu post belongs to the iduhu rohi or leading clan's rohi, the left front post holder acts as sub-chief, and back post holders gain influence through their relation to posts.
