The A^abbaggiya Bhikkhus intentionally recite the Patimokkha before the Sa^gha so it cannot be heard; doing so is declared a dukka/a offence.
The Patimokkha must not be recited intentionally so that it cannot be heard, while Udayi is allowed to endeavor to make it audible despite his voice.
