Killer whales come making yelping-dog noises; the black shiny hīn-taỵīˊcî cuts them in two when they run against it, leaving three, then makes a noise that the shaman interprets as speech about fighting because they came to eat its food.
After battles the hīn-taỵīˊcî says or is interpreted as saying that it expects to be killed next time; when warned of big crabs it says they will get it.
