Through the First precept, the Self-willed pursues Sophia so she will look below and see his lion-faced light. She sees it, does not know it is his, thinks it is related to the higher light, decides to go apart from her partner and take it to reach the Light of Lights, leaves the thirteenth Aeon, and descends into the twelve Aeons and toward Chaos.
Pistis Sophia mistakes the lion-faced lower light for the higher light and descends toward it, after which her own light is taken.
