Killer whales come making yelping-dog noises; the black shiny hīn-taỵīˊcî cuts them in two when they run against it, leaving three, then makes a noise that the shaman interprets as speech about fighting because they came to eat its food.
Several battles end with only three killer whales, or a chief and two others, surviving or escaping.
