In 'The Two Corpses,' a soldier on furlough passes a graveyard after sunset, is chased by a running, teeth-gnashing corpse, and bolts into a chapel where another corpse lies on a table with tapers burning before it.
In the chapel, the pursuing corpse and the corpse lying on the table each claim the soldier as prey and fight over him.
